THE Met Office has issued yellow warnings for more rain, dangerous flooding and wild winds across Britain.
Forecasters said that heavy rain will fall on already waterlogged ground in many parts of the country today.

Yellow rain warnings are in place for eastern Scotland, Northern Ireland, south Wales, the north west, the south west and the Midlands.
The Environment Agency has also issued 23 flood warnings across England today – with 80mm of rain forecast to fall in some areas.
Expert Kate Marks said: “Significant river and surface water flooding impacts are possible in parts of the South West of England on Thursday and Friday.
“Minor impacts are also probable elsewhere in the country.
“We advise people to stay away from swollen rivers and urge people not to drive through flood water.
“Just 30cm of flowing water is enough to move your car.
“People should check their flood risk, sign up for free flood warnings and keep up to date with the latest situation here.”
Met Office chief forecaster Neil Armstrong said that winds will push rain clouds from the west.
He added that the soggy weather will last over the weekend in a winter washout.
Neil said: “We have issued a number of severe weather warnings for rain across the UK.
“As much as 80mm of rain could fall in some areas of the west, particularly higher ground.
“Higher ground in eastern Scotland could even see up to 100mm of rain.”
He added: “The rain will be falling on already very wet ground.
“Where there is still lying snow in the northwest of England and parts of Scotland, snow melt will exacerbate the risk of flooding.
“It is important to check for flood warnings in your area issued by your local environment agency.”
