The decades-old winter wonderland event in attracts thousands of visitors every year.
It boasts more than 100 stalls across Milsom Street, York Street, Bath Street and Abbeygate Street selling handcrafted gifts, ornaments, and food and drink.
But what should have been a joyful day at the historic UK market ended up in disaster.
The content creator took to TikTok to share her experience at the popular festive stalls.
In the video Holly said: “This was the worst day possible we could have chosen to go to Bath market.
“It was the first Saturday that it was on and it was Black Friday weekend.”
Her clip showed dozens of visitors swarming the packed streets of the market.
The busy area meant she had to spent nearly an hour to park her vehicle.
The Tiktoker added: “We literally couldn’t park for like 40 minutes and we couldn’t move.”
After a disappointing 10 minutes around the stalls, the woman left the market unsatisfied.
She sad: “Then we got some food and we were in the market for like 10 minutes.”
The video has now amassed thousands of views and more than 1,000 of likes from fellow Christmas fans.
Dozens of users took to the comment section to share their opinions and thoughts.
One user fumed: “It’s the worst when Christmas markets are over-busy!
“You have a perfect image in your head then it turns out you can barely move.”
Another added: “I live in Bath and probably won’t go into town on a weekend now until the new year!”
Responding to the comment, Holly blasted: “Honestly I don’t blame you, it was silliness.”
Spotting the cinnamon rolls featured in the video users slammed the sweet treat and said they are in fact “cheap” buns from Costco.
One user said: “Those mini cinnamon rolls are from Costco, about 50 for £6.99.”
A second one revealed how can market-goers avoid the crowd.
The user said: “As a local the best time to go is on a Tuesday in the morning or early afternoon before it gets busy.”
The market is open from November 23 until December 10.
It comes as a man who visited same market was left sorely disappointed by what he found – labelling it “depressing”.
He noted that instead of street performers playing Christmas songs, they were playing Coldplay and Eva Cassidy.
Elsewhere, another woman said there’s “absolutely no point” in trying to visit the York Christmas market.
Beth explained that while the market is ranked number five in the UK’s top Christmas markets to visit, it’s just too busy to actually enjoy.
