But despite his players struggling to adjust to the system, Amorim insists he will not change his tactics any time soon.
It’s sparked a raging debate over whether he has the right stars to fit his rigid shape.
And now, Paddy Power has taken aim at Amorim by trolling him in epic style.
The bookmaker has brilliantly laid on a bus to circle by Old Trafford – that usually runs on the nearby 343 route.
The vehicle normally travels between Oldham and Hyde.
But Paddy Power managed to commandeer a 343 bus to head into Manchester’s city centre before paying a visit to Old Trafford.
And they cheekily trolled Amorim’s flagging formation with a message painted on the side of the bus.

A Paddy Power spokesperson said: “Times are tough up in Manchester.
“Some things clearly aren’t working, but we think it’s only fair to credit those who are getting the job done.
“Sadly, for United fans, it looks like they’ll have to ride it out when it comes to the 343 situation.”
