COPS have launched an urgent manhunt after a man was attacked with a “noxious substance” in a graveyard.
Officers rushed to the scene at the St Laurence Graveyard in Ramsgate, Kent, at around 8.20pm yesterday and found the man with injuries.

The man was on Manston Road and had just entered the graveyard when he was targeted by an unknown attacker.
The victim was taken to local hospital for treatment to burns to the back of his head, said Kent Police.
He remains in hospital where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Tests are being carried out to determine what substance was used in the horrific incident.
Cops confirmed that no arrests have been made.
But an investigation has been launched to “establish the circumstances surrounding the incident”.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or video footage from doorbells and dashcams to come forward.
District Commander for Thanet, Chief Inspector Ian Swallow added: “We would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anything to get in touch.
“Anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage in the area from Margate Road, on to Newington Road and Manston Road, please could you check for anything that may help officers with the investigation.
“Incidents like these are rare but we do not underestimate the impact it has on a community and as a result an increased police presence will be seen in the area as we continue to carry out enquiries.”
Kent Police said: “The victim reported that at about 8.20pm on Sunday 11 February 2024 he was walking along Manston Road and as he entered the St Laurence Graveyard, he had a noxious substance thrown at him.
“He was taken to a local hospital for treatment to burns to the back of his head. He remains in hospital where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.”
