COPS have launched an urgent search for a missing schoolgirl who disappeared late at night as CCTV is released.

Mia, 13, was last seen in Erdington, Birmingham at 1.20am on April 24.

CCTV last captured her dressed in a black top with her hair loose on her shoulders.

The teenager was heading to Hednesford with another girl and got on a train to Walsall on Wednesday night moments before she disappeared, Staffordshire Police confirmed.

The force have since launched a widespread search for the young girl – urging members of the public to come forward with any information.

Staffordshire Police said: “We’re still looking for missing girl Mia, aged 13.

“She went to Hednesford with another girl and then went by train to Walsall on Wednesday night.

“She was seen in Erdington at 1.20am on Thursday. If you can help, call 101 or use Live Chat, quoting incident 746 of 23 April.”
