WALES look to avoid winning back-to-back Wooden Spoons as England travel to Cardiff looking for the title.

Steve Borthwick’s side are on the cusp of taking the lead for the first time in the Six Nations, but need to get past old rivals Wales first.

The English have put themselves into contention after three consecutive wins, with Borthwick’s decision to promote Fin Smith to starting fly-half paying dividends.

A poor second half showing in Dublin lead to their only defeat of the Six Nations this year, with Borthwick’s side also being the only ones to stop the free flowing French.

For Wales, it has been another tournament to forget, but Matt Sherratt is looking to give Cardiff an afternoon to remember at the Principality.

The Red Dragon are the only side coming out of the tournament with a different head coach, as Warren Gatland took charge of the opening two rounds.

Now winless in over 500 days, Wales are itching for a huge win in front of home support to get the ball rolling on a new era coming out of the Six Nations.
