The unknown teen had been walking home in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday when a man clutching a bottle of booze approached her, asking “are you afraid?” before allegedly making inappropriate comments.

Footage shows the thug crossing a car park to reach the young girl as she walked along the pavement.

Another chilling clip sees the young girl looking incredibly uncomfortable as the man appears to reach out to her, or point.

Thankfully, nearby shop owners Tina and Bill Moss had been watching the creepy exchange.

And after the young girl spotted the pair, she called out for the them as if they were her family members.

Describing the unbelievable situation, Bill told ABC13: “She looked over and said, ‘Hey is that my aunt Rachel?’ And I said yes.”

Aunt Rachel, who is actually Tina, took the teen to safety inside the shop with her and her husband.

But the drunken stranger followed her and terrifyingly banged on the glass, Bill recalled.

He added: “We locked the doors, called the police.”

The couple’s CCTV cameras thankfully captured the whole exchange, with the man clearly seen approaching the young girl and attempting to interact with her.

Christina Pino, the teen’s mum, told ABC: “The first thing that he said to her was, ‘are you afraid?’, before making inappropriate and sexual comments to her.

“She just thought, ‘I had to get out of the situation quick’, and so she said, ‘Aunt Rachel! Aunt Rachel!’”

The worried parent also made a plea to the area in which the incident occurred, warning residents “need to be more aware”.

Christina went to visit Bill and Tina to thank the for helping to save her daughter, with the three captured in a group hug.

The hero couple also told the broadcaster that they hoped someone would jump to help their children if they were in the same position.

Bill added: “We’re just normal people. We’re parents, we just own a store in our town. So we want to make sure our town is safe and we’re here for you.”

Ridley Township said the man was arrested and charged with inappropriate verbal contact with a minor, without releasing his identity.

And the teen’s mom Christina also said that she hoped the man receives the help he requires.

She also told her wish for her daughter’s story to help other parents talk to their children about interactions with strangers.
