A British tourist can be heard repeatedly yelling: “Oh my God, oh my God” as boulders thunder down, smashing into the hotel complex during a torrential downpour.

Four people were trapped as the landslide hit.

Two of the three casualties suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene, while the third was rushed to a nearby private hospital.

The fourth person was freed unharmed.

It was not clear this morning whether any Brits were among those injured.

Around 220 guests were evacuated overnight and moved to hotels in the nearby Playa d’en Bossa resort.

Ibiza Town Council confirmed the operation, revealing two more people were hurt elsewhere as freak floods hammered the island.

One was a pensioner who broke his leg after falling into an uncovered drain while trying to cross a flooded street.

The chaos struck as a severe orange weather alert was upgraded to red, bringing biblical rain that turned roads into rivers.

Parts of the airport highway became impassable, forcing stranded holidaymakers to drag suitcases on foot to catch flights.

A taxi driver told Periodico de Ibiza that a 25-minute trip from San Antonio to the airport turned into a three-hour ordeal – they spent an hour and a half trapped in a tunnel before finally making a 2pm flight with minutes to spare.

Luxury hotels were also hit.

At the chic Pacha Hotel near the marina, part of the roof collapsed, sending water pouring inside as staff desperately tried to mop up around fallen ceiling tiles.

One Brit posted: “Brilliant… check-in in 10 days.”

Another quipped: “Water party closing.”
