THIS is the moment a supermarket worker knocked out a “shoplifter” cold with a two litre bottle of pop in “tomahawk throw.”
The worker knocked down the suspect after throwing a large bottle of pop at him across the supermarket.

The suspect , who was trying to leave the store, appeared to have been knocked out by the impact.
The drama, thought to have taken place in an American store last year, has since gone viral and clocked up nearly 5 million views.
The CCTV clip shows a security guard trying to stop an individual from leaving the shop.
The suspect, who wore a large backpack, started pushing a supermarket trolley into the guard.
He appeared to be inching toward the exit when a worker threw a bottle of pop at him. The suspect then collapsed the floor.
The video has since been shared on X (Twitter) by @DonutOperator, with the caption: “Shoplifter knocked out with coke bottle tomahawk throw.”
Some users praised the worker’s vigilance. One posted “This needs to be the first response in all shoplifting cases.”
Another said: “The phrase “sweet justice” has never been more appropriate..”
However others suggested the worker could face being disciplined or even dismissed.
One user suggested the suspect who was knocked out could now take legal action against the store.
