CHRISTMAS ends early for one family – who take down their decorations on Boxing Day.
JJ Barnes, 38, and partner Jon McKinney, 40, say they tire of the clutter their festive knick-knacks cause.

And after their two kids receive piles of presents, they admit they run out of space to store everything.
JJ, from Stafford, Staffs, said: “It’s so much easier to put them away without all the decorations cluttering up all the rooms.
“We let the kids lead the decoration a few days after our eldest daughter’s birthday at the end of November.
“But after having them up for a month, it’s time for them to come down!”
JJ says the house is “chaotic” when the decorations go up as the kids make them themselves out of lollipop sticks and glitter glue.
The usual tinsel and fairy lights also litter the home.
So after a month the family are happy to see the fandangles back in their boxes.
But packing Christmas trinkets away is not the only tradition the family buck at the best time of the year.
They shun conventional festive foods like turkey and pigs in blankets in favour of curry.
On Christmas Day you can find them chowing down on a paneer vindaloo, paneer special, vegan curry and cheesy garlic naan.
They also smash through pakoras, onion bhajis and chips to feed the four of them.
The £60 order makes sense as the whole family – including kids Rose, 11, and Buffy, seven – are vegetarian.
JJ, a writer, said: “I did a roast the first year Jon and I were together in 2014 and the following year we realised that neither of us liked it that much and our favourite was always a curry.
“Now its tradition that on Christmas Eve we will order [it] to put in the fridge and heat up the following evening.
“We go all out and spend a lot more than normal at the Indian takeaway – but it is Christmas after all!
“We just want to enjoy our Christmas how we want to. We don’t care about traditions.”
