A WEDDING dress designer who made a frock for a Made in Chelsea star was run over by her ex’s truck in a row over children.
Emma Beaumont, 34, created the dress for Sophie Habboo when she and Jamie Laing tied the knot in Spain.

A court has now heard how the designer was ploghed into by her ex-boyfriend Scott Purslow after he said: “You need to grow up and let me see the kids.”
Emma had told Purslow, 35, he should “pay” for their two youngsters if he wanted to see them, before he crashed into the mum on her own driveway.
The Warrington Magistrates Court heard how the pair – who split in January 2022 – started bickering at Emma’s home in Davenham, Cheshire in November last year.
The mum, who runs a bridal boutique in Knutsford, rushed to call police after Purslow hit her.
Yvonne Dobson, prosecuting, told the court how Purslow was dropping their eldest child home at the time, and asked if he could see their youngest.
Emma said no as the pair had an agreement Purslow could not come into the house.
MailOnline reported Ms Dobson told the court: “He threw the other child’s clothes in her face whilst the youngster went into the house.
“The defendant went off in his car but the complainant realised he still had the child’s trainers and wellies, and that the child needed them.”
The prosecutor told the court that Emma went up to the car and opened the passenger door, asking where the bag was.
Ms Dobson continued: “She then closed the door and opened the rear passenger side door and as she was getting them out of the car, he said, ‘You need to grow up and let me see the kids.’
“She replied, ‘If you care to see the children you should pay for them’.
“But as she was removing the items, he said: ‘You f***ing b****’ or words to that effect.”
The prosecutor said Emma grabbed the bag and started walking towards her home.
She continued: “She was about 20 metres away. As she walked towards her door she was parallel with the defendant’s car.
“She was hit by the car on the right side of her body and he braked. The car made contact and it made her lose her balance.
“She believed he had done it deliberately and went into the house and rang the police.”
And while Emma wasn’t injured, she had been recovering from an unrelated surgery at the time.
Purslow barrister Emily Land told the court: “My friend is suggesting the car was used as a weapon but I would disagree with that. He made an incredibly stupid mistake.
“It could have resulted in injury but luckily it did not. I have warned him that a fine will reflect the seriousness of the offence.”
Purslow was fined £1,730 and ordered to pay Emma £150 compensation after he was convicted of assault at an earlier hearing.
A charge of careless driving was dropped.
Purslow was also further ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £692, plus trial costs of £640.
He was issued with a two-year restraining order, stopping him from contacting Emma or from entering her street.
