Locals in a quiet village claim they’ve been traumatised by teenagers carrying out a series of anti-social acts while wearing terrifying masks.
Residents in Ash, Kent have been left ‘petrified’Google
Frightening culprits have been spotted loitering at the end of driveways in Ash, Kent, and staring at homeowners, they claim.
It is the second time in less than a week that reports have been made after one youth was caught outside a Co-op in the area.
The “clown” has been wandering around in a “red wig and has huge, sharp teeth” and banging on people’s doors.
Claire Gilmore, 41, said her children were scared by the pranksters when she saw them outside the local shop.
She told KentOnline: “As one of them turned around, he put the clown mask on.
“He kept running about like he was joking around. But my little girl, who is three, was petrified as it is a scary mask.
“The teeth were quite scary and looked sharp. My little boy said it looked like a clown from The Curse of Bridge Hollow [on Netflix].
“It would be quite scary for an elderly person too.”
Another said: “They were hanging around at the end of my drive.
“I went out to put the bin out, spoke to them and they just stared.
“Next door said they had knocked on their door and ran off. One had a clown mask and wig on.”
A third said: “An idiot is walking around, banging on doors with a clown mask on.
“He stood at the bottom of my front garden, trying to look scary.”
Cops said they were made aware of the situation and are monitoring the situation.
