BRYSON DeChambeau warned Europe’s Ryder Cup stars to expect a ‘tsunami of a crowd’ in the showdown in New York.
The brash American fired a blistering 64 in the final round of The Open to all but book his place in the September showdown at Bethpage Black.

And he could hardly speak with emotion when asked what he will bring to the team.
He said: “I hope I can bring a lot of energy and a tsunami of a crowd that’s going to be rooting for Team USA.
“This year’s no joke. We’re tired of it. We’re tired of losing.”

Europe hold the Ryder Cup after a 161⁄2–111⁄2 in Rome in 2023.

He was +7 for the first 18 holes, and then -16 for the remaining 54.
DeChambeau said: “I’ve been working on myself and how I am and how I act act.
“I had to transition my brain to say, ‘Look, I’m going to give it everything I have tomorrow, no matter what happens. I’m going to go full force, attack like it’s Sunday of a major championship’ — and that’s what I did.”
