WEST HAM fans stormed out of the stadium after Chelsea ran riot at the London Stadium.

The Hammers opened the scoring in the sixth minute but that was the last thing the home faithful had to cheer.

Chelsea took just nine minutes to level, through Joao Pedro, and it was one way traffic from then on, although West Ham did have a goal chalked off for offside after a VAR check.

Pedro Neto scored after that to give the visitors the lead before goals from Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo sunk the Hammers.

Fernandez’s strike led some fans to head to the concourse ten minutes before the half-time whistle, with the fourth goal sparking a mass exodus.

Supporters began leaving the stadium in their droves before the hour mark.

That meant they were fortunate enough not to see Trevoh Chalobah head in a fifth for the visitors.

West Ham opened their Prem campaign with a 3-0 defeat at Sunderland last week.

They have now conceded eight goals – their highest number in the opening two games of a season.

And to make matters worse for Graham Potter it came against the club that sacked him in April 2023.

There were empty seats galore inside the London Stadium by the time the final whistle blew.

The match ended in a resounding 5-1 victory for the Blues.
