When is the Carabao Cup final?
The Carabao Cup final in 2025 is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 16.
Kick-off time has not yet been confirmed, but the 2024 final kicked off at 3pm.
The official kick-off time will be confirmed in the coming days/weeks.
Who is in the Carabao Cup final?
Defending champions Liverpool took home the trophy last season, beating Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley Stadium.
An open game saw Chelsea miss a handful of good chances, before in extra time Virgil van Dijk headed in the first and only goal of the final.
Van Dijk’s header won Jurgen Klopp his last trophy as manager of the Reds.
This year, after two semi-finals, consisting of two legged play offs, Newcastle will face Liverpool or Tottenham for the first trophy of the season.
Eddie Howe’s side reached the final for the second time in three seasons, beating Mikel Arteta’s side at the Emirates before holding on to their place at St James Park winning 4-0 on aggregate in dominant fashion.
How to watch the Carabao Cup final 2025 and is it available for streaming?
Sky Sports currently holds the rights to the FA Cup, so will be showing the game live on Sky Sports, or via the Sky Go and Sky Sports app for streaming.
Sky Sports and the EFL came to an agreement to show one fixture per round of the Carabao Cup semi-finals on ITV1 and ITVX, so could reach an agreement for free-to-air coverage of the final.
The game will be played at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 16, with kick-off time to be announced in the coming weeks.
