Aside from being Sir Alex Ferguson‘s son, Jason is known for being a documentary maker.
He previously work as a football agent but swapped this for film making.
Despite tending to stay out of the spotlight himself, he has spoken in detail about how he felt when his dad had a brain haemorrhage in 2018.
Jason has said he expected the worst and has since recalled when he had to call 999 for his dad.
He told the Press Association: “We went up to Macclesfield hospital first of all and that was when it was identified that he had had a brain haemorrhage.
“I remember going out and speaking to the doctor. She’d just come in and told us, ‘Look, you’ve had a bleed on the brain and we’re going have to get you up to Salford Royal for an operation’.
“I remember stepping outside the room and saying to her, ‘How bad is this?’ and she looked at me almost as if I was like an idiot and just was like, ‘It’s bad, this is a pretty serious situation’.”

The film follows Sir Alex’s impressive career as a football manager as well as how he recovered from his brain haemorrhage.
Jason interviewed his dad for the documentary and eventually ended up with 70 hours worth of audio from chatting to his dad.
Alex’s love for football is clear throughout as he recalls facts about specific games including remembering all bar one of Manchester United’s line-up the first time he saw them in 1953.
Jason has said he thinks he watched the film more than 100 times and helped him digest what happened in 2018.
