Away from the spotlight, the star is engaged to former Team GB swimmer Jack Burnell – here’s everything you need to know.

Swimming career
Born on June 13, 1993, Jack Burnell is a retired swimmer who competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
He had also been due to take part in Toyko 2020 before it was postponed as a result of the pandemic.
During his career, Burnell won a silver medal in the 10 km race at the European Open Water Swimming Championships in 2016 but was disqualified during the same event at the 2016 Olympic Games.
Following his retirement, Burnell is now believed to be working as a performance mindset coach for the football team Brentford FC.
Famous fiance
In June 2020, The Sun revealed that singer Ella Henderson was dating the Team GB swimmer.
Within six months, the pair had taken to social media to share a glimpse of their romance.
In a sweet post, Jack wrote: ”Finding this one was the ultimate plot twist . . . you make me forget about yesterday and dream about tomorrow.”
Ella added: ”You walked into my life like you already belonged there . . . I guess the unexpected is usually what brings the unbelievable.”
Ella rose to fame after appearing on The X-Factor in 2012.
The singer was a firm favourite to win the show but was sadly eliminated in week seven.
Following her time in the competition, Ella went on to release her debut studio album Chapter One, which reached number one in the UK.
Since then, the star has had hits with songs such as Glow and Ghost.
She has also worked on several hit collaborations, working alongside famous faces such as Tom Grennan.
Shock engagement
In 2023, Ella and Jack shared their exciting engagement news with fans.
The singer took to social media to share a photograph of herself sporting a giant diamond ring.
Posting the photos on Instagram, she wrote: “So this happened … here’s to life with you & all its adventures @jackrexburnel .”
Marriage proposal in Mauritius
The former swimmer proposed to Ella during a dream holiday in Mauritius.
The pair spent their stay at the Residence Mauritius Hotel, which boasts a gym, a private beach, a spa, and an outdoor pool area with sunbathing terrace.
After popping the big question, Jack also took to Instagram to share the moment with fans and followers.
Sharing a selection of snaps to social media, the post read: ”SHE SAID YES!!! Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you… @official_ellahenderson.”
