Who is Nicole Rogers?
Nicole Rogers was born in England in 1998.
She has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the nation’s most promising young bowlers.
In 2006, Nicole began playing indoor bowls and later started competing in the outdoor discipline of the sport in 2015.
Her introduction to bowls came through her parents, who played at Loddon Vale Indoor Bowling Club.
She joined the junior sessions there on Saturday mornings, sparking her passion for the game.
Nicole has expressed her desire to see bowls evolve into a lucrative sport.
She told Bowls England: “I’d love bowls to become a sport where you can turn pro and make a living out of it.”
Personal life
Outside of bowls, Nicole plays netball, swimming and skiing.
She also enjoys working out at the gym.

Nicole has accumulated an impressive list of achievements in her career so far, including a world championship:
In 2018, she won the WIBC World Indoor U25 Singles title.
In 2020, she reached the semi-finals of the women’s singles at the World Indoor Bowls Championship.
She won the National (English) Under 25 title, followed by the British Under 25 title in 2020.
In 2023, she reached the semi-finals of both the women’s singles and the open under 25 singles at the World Indoor Bowls Championship.
In August 2023, Nicole won her first major national title, securing the triples with Sophie Tolchard and Harriet Stevens for the King’s Club in Torquay at the 2023 Bowls England National Finals.
In November 2023, she won a silver medal in the pairs with Harriet Stevens at the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic.
In 2024, Nicole won the triples title at the British Isles Bowls Championships.
Also in 2024, she won the pairs gold medal with Harriet Stevens at the European Bowls Championships.

Representing England
Nicole has also represented England in international competitions.
In 2023, she participated in The British Isles Series held in Ayr, Scotland.
Later the same year, she played The Hong Kong International Bowls Classic, where she secured a silver medal for her country in the pairs event.
Style and equipment
Nicole has been a long-time user of Taylor bowls — she started playing with them when she inherited a set from her grandfather.
She told Taylor Bowls: “I started playing with Taylor bowls when I was about 10 and I’ve loved them ever since.
“They feel really nice in the hand, and they have great playability.
“My Taylor Vector VS’s have been at the forefront of my success for many years indoors.
“When I was 10 years old, my grandad passed away, and I was given his Taylor Vector VS’s.
“I immediately got on with them and have been using these ever since — I’ve even won a world title with them!”
