WWE SummerSlam will take place THIS WEEKEND – and some huge matches are set to go down.
Cody Rhodes will have his shot at revenge as he takes on John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a highly anticipated street fight.

Cena dethroned Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 and has since defended his title against Randy Orton and CM Punk.
The American Nightmare earned his shot at a rematch by winning the King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions in June.
This weekend’s huge card sees Jade Cargill challenge Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at WWE‘s showpiece summer event.
CM Punk also features after he won the gauntlet match on Raw to become No1 contender for Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship.
Elsewhere, Orton teams up with four-time Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll for a stunning tag-team bout against internet sensation Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.
And the mega matches don’t stop there with EIGHT more huge showdowns set to take place across the first-ever two-day SummerSlam.
But why is the card split over two days this year?
Why is WWE SummerSlam two nights in 2025?
This weekend, the inaugural two-day SummerSlam will take place at the MetLife Stadium.
The WWE have opted to take the event down the same route as they did with WrestleMania.
Since 2020, the promotion has split its biggest show of the year, over two nights, and it has been a huge success.
This has led WWE to make SummerSlam, their second biggest event, into a two-night show as well.
Some reports state that WWE are also considering making Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank two-night shows in the future too.
