A WOMAN has died after being hit by a lifestock truck in front of farmers at an auction market.
The horror incident happened on Main Street in High Bentham, North Yorkshire, at the entrance to the Bentham and District Farmers Auction Market at 10.15am yesterday.

A 74-year-old woman died at the scene.
The driver of a red Scania lorry, with a livestock trailer – a man, 48, from Ryedale – was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
He has since been released under investigation.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “If you witnessed the incident or have relevant dashcam footage of the woman or the red Scania HGV with a livestock trailer prior to the collision, please get in touch without delay.
“It is believed the woman, and the HGV, were heading west down Mount Pleasant before the collision occurred at the entrance to the auction mart.
