Woman in her 20s ‘sexually assaulted’ at ticket barrier in major train station as cops release CCTV in hunt for man

A WOMAN was sexually assaulted at the ticket barriers of a major train station, police have revealed.

The victim, in her 20s, was allegedly attacked by a man who had been refused entry to board a train at Euston station earlier this month.

The British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man in connection to a sexual assault

The attack happened at Euston station earlier this month

Cops are urging anyone who may recognise this man to contact them immediately

The woman was queuing to enter platform 7 at 3.05pm on Tuesday, July 1 when the shocking attack happened.

The British Transport Police said a man, who had been refused entry at the barrier, sexually assaulted the woman as he went in the opposite direction.

Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the individual is urged to contact the British Transport Police as soon as possible.
