Woman in her 30s fighting for her life after ‘falling from moving car on road’ as man, 45, arrested over ‘assault’

A WOMAN is fighting for her life after falling from a moving car.

A man, aged 45, has been arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident last Friday in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for CCTV and witnesses.

In a statement, the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses and those with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following reports of a road traffic incident in Sheffield that has left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

“At 6.32am on Friday (10 October), we were called to reports of a road traffic incident at Burncross Road, Sheffield.

“It is reported that a woman in her 30s fell from a moving car on the road and suffered life-threatening injuries.

“The woman remains in a life-threatening condition at hospital and her family is aware.

“A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
