A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’re investigating after a woman was raped by two men in Chelmsley Wood.

“It happened at Alcott Woods in Chelmsley Wood at around 8am yesterday.

“We are supporting the woman, and officers have been in the area carrying searches and other enquiries.

“The investigation is at a very early stage and anyone with information has been asked to get in touch via Live Chat or 101 quoting log 1844 of 10 February.

“We have extra officers in the area to offer reassurance.

“Alternatively, information can be given via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
