THREE men have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged rape in a busy city centre park.
Cops launched an investigation into the reported rape on West Park in Hull, Yorkshire, after receiving multiple reports of the harrowing incident.
The horror is said to have occurred in the early hours of Tuesday September 9, 2025.
Humberside Police officers raced to the scene after a member of the public alerted them to a “woman in distress” in the park.
Shortly after receiving their first alert to the alleged crime cops were called again with another report of the rape.
The second tip off said three men had allegedly fled the scene in a silver Volkswagen Golf.
An investigation was launched into the horror and has since led to the arrest of three men, two aged 26 and one aged 27.
All three of the men were arrested on suspicion of rape, cops said.
The trio are still in police custody as enquiries into the alleged rape continue.
A 43-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of rape but has since been released without charge.
An officer has been placed at the park while Crime Scene Investigators work on the scene.
Anyone with information that may assist the force in its enquiries is asked to contact Humberside Police as a matter of urgency.
Leading the investigation, Detective Inspector Adrian Adamson said: “Over the course of the last three days, we’ve been carrying out extensive lines of enquiry, including reviewing CCTV footage in and around the area to identify the vehicle concerned.

“All three men remain in police custody whilst officers continue with lines of enquiries.
“A 43-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of rape and has since been released without charge.
“A scene guard was put in place to allow our Crime Scene Investigation team to work efficiently, I can confirm this has since been removed.
