A WOMAN was allegedly raped twice and sexually assaulted on a popular UK beach, a court heard.

The alleged attack unfolded on Great Yarmouth seafront, in Norfolk, on February 16 earlier this year.

Cops arrested Luis Brazao, who is also accused of sexually assaulting the woman twice on the same date.

The 31-year-old, of Seafield Close, Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday.

Speaking through a Portuguese interpreter, Brazao denied all four charges.

Judge Katharine Moore set a trial to begin on August 20 this year.

The defendant was remanded in custody.
