A WOMAN was allegedly sexually assaulted in a city centre bar, with police urgently looking for information on the attack.

Cops said the “distressing” attack happened in “full view” of other punters.

Nottinghamshire Police released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after the horror assault.

They urged anyone who knows him to get in touch.

Officers were called to the pub in Nottingham city centre at 12.30am on Sunday.

Detective Sergeant Helen Sanders, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim who was targeted in full view of other members of the public.

“We have been working throughout the day to track down the person responsible and believe the man pictured in this image can help with our inquiries.

“Anyone who knows him is asked to get in touch without delay.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 14 of June 1.
