A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a woman was “sexually assaulted” outside of a city centre bar.
The horror unfolded in Norwich on Sunday, July 20, with police called to Red Lion Street in the early hours.
A man in his 40s has since been arrested on suspicion of rape.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He has now been released on bail until October 13.
A police cordon was set up around The Aslan Cafe and Bar after the incident.
Cops conducted inquiries in the area with the cordon remaining in place for several hours.
