Bowls fans around the world were tuned into BBC 2 to watch the semi-final clash between Stewart Anderson and Harry Goodwin.

But they got more when they bargained for when a prankster played the infamous porn noise that’s plagued events and TV shows down the years.
Bowls fans were left stunned by what they heard, with one saying: “The World Indoor Bowls has been porn noised!”
Another said: “I didn’t know that people found the World Indoor Bowls Championship this exciting.”
And another said: “Bowls championship on BBC2 finally became entertaining for the first time ever.”
One remarked with a laughing emoji: “Great bowls.”
And another chimed in: “Someone’s getting sacked at the BBC after that made bowls more interesting for all of 5 mins.”
Commentator David Corkill tried his best to make light of the hilarious prank, which Anderson and Goodwin appeared to have a wry smile at.
He said: “Well, we have a problem somewhere.
“Hopefully, they’ll get it sorted out pretty quickly.
“It sounds like a sound issue. Sometimes these things happen, it’s all the joy of live sport.”
The match was temporarily stopped to halt this issue, with a technical timeout being implemented.
Play eventually resumed, albeit after a second airing of the moaning and groining.
Corkill did incredibly well to navigate the sound bombing, during which he apologised for the accidental pun he made.
