AFTER a week in Yushan the World Open is down to its final four players with the semi-finals taking place NOW.

Defending champion and snooker world No 1 Judd Trump – who lifted the trophy in 2019 with Covid-19 preventing play in the last three seasons – is one of those four and plays against up-and-coming Jackson Page.

The other semi-final will be between local hero Ding Junhui and Australian Neil Robertson, with the players fighting for a place in Sunday’s final and £170,000 prize money.
