ALL eyes will be on Saudi Arabia as it is set to host its first-ever World Pool Championship tournament – and the prize money is huge.

Francisco Sanchez Ruiz will be determined to pull off a successful title defence after beating Mohammad Soufi in last year’s thrilling final.

However, Ruiz is set for a tougher challenge this time around as 128 cueists battle it out for the crown jewel of the World Nineball Tour.

Furthermore, with Saudi hosting the tournament, there is always a guaranteed massive prize pot.

This year’s crown jewel of the World Nineball Tour will witness a record prize fund of $1MILLION which is approximately £850,000.

Runner-up: £100,000

Semi-finalists: £50,000

Quarter-finalists: £27,000

Last-16: £15,000

Last 32: £7,000

Last 64: £3,500

Losers Qualification – £2,000

Last 128: £1,000

When is the World Pool Championship 2024?

The World Pool Championship 2024 will start on Monday, June 3.

And it is scheduled to run for six days – concluding on Saturday, June 8.

It will be held at the Green Halls, Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
