Wrexham line up former Liverpool star, 31, in ambitious transfer to shore up defence

WREXHAM still hope to sign Jack Robinson from Sheffield United for their promotion push.

The defender, 31, is keen and the Welsh club want a bargain deal.

Robinson is verging on 160 appearances for the Blades since joining from Nottingham Forest at the beginning of 2020, and certainly fits that bill.

He began his career in Liverpool‘s academy system, briefly becoming the youngest player to make a senior appearance for the club when he debuted at age 16 in 2010.

He has since had spells with Wolves, Blackpool, QPR and Huddersfield.

Ryan Reynold’s Wrexham clearly need the Championship experience, after they capitulated in their debut in the division on Saturday.
