WWE legend Hulk Hogan underwent neck surgery this week as he prepares to launch a new wrestling league.

The 71-year-old is recovering well following a “little fusion procedure” on Wednesday.

He decided to have the surgery to make him “feel a little better”.

He even returned to work on Thursday, just 24 hours after going under the knife.

A representative told TMZ that it was a “quick turnaround” for the wrestling icon.

Just last year, Hogan told YouTube star Logan Paul that he endured at least 25 operations between 2014 and 2024 alone.

He said: “I’ve had like 25 surgeries in the last 10 years. I’ve had 10 back surgeries, both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders – everything.

Hogan is now preparing to kick off his new wrestling league.

Real American Freestyle will debut in August – and the WWE icon wants President Donald Trump in attendance on opening night.

The new league will feature real, unscripted freestyle wrestling.

It will also have both men’s and women’s divisions, with fans getting an insight into each athlete’s backstory before each fight.

Hogan told TMZ: “By the time these wrestlers come out you’re going to actually be vested in these athletes and it’s really going to ramp up.”

He also believes that it can be “just as big” as the UFC and WWE.
