Ronnie O’Sullivan had fans in awe during his match with Ryan Day
In the second frame O’Sullivan crashed in a satisfying pot of the brown ball
O’Sullivan, 48, won the match 13-7 as he looks to be crowned world champion for a record eighth time.
However, it was a shot he produced in the second frame which got fans talking and set the tempo of the game.
After racking up 80 points, O’Sullivan could be seen lining up his next shot with the BBC cameras lined up with a perfect view behind over his shoulder.
O’Sullivan then hit the cue ball onto the brown ball.
The shot saw the brown ball nestle into the right corner pocket with a crisp result.
The cue ball pinged off in the opposite direction and bounced off two cushions before finding itself down the other end of the table, where it connected with a red ball to set up the next shot.
The BBC commentators were left stunned, saying: “Goodness me. ‘For my next trick’.
Fans were also loving the shot and rushed to social media to share their thoughts.
