THE sister of a murderer who slit their mother’s throat in a drunken rage yesterday told her: “You’re dead to me.”

Eliza Jones said she would never forgive her sibling Bronwyn, 27.

She told her in court: “You took the life of the most important person who helped me through everything and loved me and cared for me.

“I’m fuming. You are dead to me. You are not my sister any more.”

Portsmouth crown court heard Jones hitched to their mum’s home in Petersfield, Hants, in May 2023.

A neighbour later found her drunk and covered in blood, repeating: “I’ve killed her.”

Jones, charged as a woman but now identifying as male, denied murdering Anna, 44, but was convicted in December.

Jailing her for 22 years yesterday, Judge Michael Bowes said: “You were heavily intoxicated by alcohol and felt rage towards your mother – who you subsequently said you resented.

“You attacked your mother with a knife you brought with you, stabbing her repeatedly while she struggled with you while fighting for her lie.

“I am sure that when you stabbed your mother you intended to kill her.”
