WALES face stern opposition against Argentina in Saturday’s quarter-final clash.
The Dragons advanced through to the knockout stages of the Rugby World Cup with a perfect record of four wins in as many games played – including a crushing 40-6 victory against Australia.

But Argentina go into the match, held in Marseilles’ Stade Velodrome, having lost only once in Pool D – their opening 27-10 defeat to England.
Michael Cheika’s men produced impressive displays in their other pool games – including a 59-5 thrashing of bitter rivals Chile.
Yet Wales waltzed through Pool C to the quarter-finals – winning their final three games by at least 20 points.
Louis Rees-Zammit – arguably the quickest player at the 2023 Rugby World Cup – bagged a hat-trick of tries in their final pool tie, a 43-19 drubbing of Georgia.

Wales coach Warren Gatland has received good news in the form of a fit Dan Biggar – who had suffered a pectoral injury early on in that rout of the Aussies in Lyon.
Gareth Anscombe had come on for the 33-year-old in that game to produce a man-of-the-match 23-point performance – equalling the crocked fly-half’s own World Cup record match tally.
Assistant coach Jonathan Thomas also revealed that Anscombe and full-back Liam Williams may both be available for the weekend.
Anscombe withdrew 45 minutes before Saturday’s Georgia game due to a groin problem – while Williams was on crutches after taking a blow to his knee.
Thomas said: “At this stage, it is looking positive. Every day it will evolve. It is probably not as bad as first feared.
The crutches thing was to try and offload any pressure. It doesn’t mean he [Williams] has done anything severe. He was jogging about today.
“I saw Anscombe jogging around on the pitch, along with Liam. The first 48 hours after you have a knock is very important in terms of assessing it. With both Liam and Gareth, it is pretty positive.”
For Argentina, they have been dealt a huge blow as Pablo Matera is a doubt for the quarter-final clash in Marseille after suffering from a hamstring problem.
