So it set up a blockbuster rematch on the undercard of KSI’s eventual loss to Tommy Fury in Manchester.

Deen got off to a quick start by dropping Walid – real name Walid Muhsein – and racing to an early lead.

But disaster almost struck in round three after the American missed with a wild one-two combination.

Tellingly, Deen quickly switched to the southpaw stance and only threw with his lead right hand.

Recounting the incident, he posted on X, formerly Twitter: “When my shoulder dislocated midfight! Switched southpaw.”

Deen went onto recover but had to survive a late fifth and final round onslaught by Walid.

The Misfits lightweight champion subsequently revealed he also suffered a broken right hand as he shared an X-ray photo.

Deen said: “Broke my hand on his face lol… be back soon ya’ll.”
