DIOGO JOTA posted a heartbreaking video of his wedding day just hours before his tragic death.
The Liverpool star, 28, died alongside his brother in a car accident in Spain, the Portuguese FA confirmed today.

Jota shared a video of the special day on social media showing off the celebrations.
The video gave an insight into the pre-ceremony preparations while the Portuguese couple were seen dancing along to a live band.
Jota captioned the post: “A day we will never forget ”
The married couple were joined by their three children – Dinis, four, Duarte, two, and a daughter who was born in 2024.
After tying the knot in a church in Porto, Jota said: “I’m the lucky one.”
Jota and Rute got together in 2012 with the former striker proposing in July 2022.
Sharing a photo of the ceremony, Rute wrote: “Yes to forever. My dream came true.”
They also shared pictures of them in front of the altar with their children.
The Instagram post of their wedding day received over 190,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments.
Jota died in a car crash in Zamora, Spain, in the early hours of today along with his brother Andre Silva, 26.
Tributes have poured in for the star from the likes of Gary Neville and Piers Morgan.
The Portuguese FA shared a heartbreaking statement that read: “The Portuguese Football Federation and all of Portuguese football are completely devastated by the deaths of Diogo Jota and André Silva, this morning, in Spain.
“Much more than an amazing player, with almost 50 internationalizations for the National A Team, Diogo Jota was an extraordinary person, respected by all teammates and opponents, someone with an infectious joy and a reference in the community itself.
“On my behalf, and on behalf of the Portuguese Football Federation, I express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Diogo and Andre Silva, as well as Liverpool FC and FC Penafiel, the clubs where, respectively, lined up the players.
“The Portuguese Football Federation has already asked UEFA for a minute’s silence, this Thursday, before the match of our national team with Spain, in the women’s European Championship, lost to two champs.
“The disappearance of Diogo and Andre Silva represents irreparable losses for Portuguese football and we will do everything to, daily, honour their legacy.”
