Alexander Isak ‘MOVES OUT’ of Newcastle home as wantaway striker desperate to force Liverpool transfer

ALEXANDER ISAK has reportedly MOVED OUT of his Newcastle home as he continues his desperate bid to join Liverpool.

The Sweden international is hellbent on leaving the Magpies in what would be a British-record transfer to the champions.

Liverpool are willing to spend as much as £130MILLION on the striker.

Newcastle are still, publicly at least, adamant Isak will not be sold.

But the former Real Sociedad star, who the Toon bought for £63m in 2022, seems determined to test the club’s mettle.

Isak, 25, is understood to have told Newcastle chiefs he will not play for the club again, even if they refuse to sell him this summer.

Now, according to The Times, he has made his intentions crystal clear by moving out of his luxury house.

They claim the 25-year-old has vacated his plush Ponteland digs, which went back on the market after he missed Newcastle’s players and families day earlier this month.

Club chiefs stopped the Swede from attending the get-together due to his desire to leave.

The rental company in charge of leasing out Isak’s home re-listed the £6,950-a-month property after he flew to Spain to train solo at former club Real Sociedad.

The house was burgled last April, with robbers getting away with £68,000 worth of jewellery and £10,000 in cash.

A family of international robbers was responsible for the burglary and were jailed in May for raiding Isak’s house and multiple other homes in the North East.

Liverpool had a £110million offer for Isak rejected by Newcastle earlier in the window.

And they are ready to pounce again if given any indication from St James’ Park that a deal can be done.

Newcastle have been actively trying to find a replacement for Isak but have so far failed to attract a big name.

They agreed a deal worth over £70m with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko, only for the striker to snub them in favour of Manchester United.

While Liverpool also pinched another top target, Hugo Ekitike.

Boss Eddie Howe has now turned his attention to Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, who could cost over £80m, and Porto goal machine Samu Aghehowa.

And Isak knows Newcastle will need to secure at least one signing if he is to be allowed to move to Anfield before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

Magpies boss Eddie Howe is hoping to retain the services of Isak, who has scored 61 goals in 109 appearances for the club.

But he admits the future of the striker, who has been given the No.14 shirt for the upcoming season, is very much out of his hands.

He said: “I think everything is in play. I’ve said many times he is contracted to us.

He is our player. The club make the decision on his future.

“I don’t know what that will be. Of course, I have a preferred outcome.

“I want the best and the strongest squad possible, but I also want players that really want to play for this football club.”
