EVERY adult in Britain will be forced to carry a new digital ID under fresh plans from Sir Keir Starmer.
The PM is expected to use a speech in London tomorrow to back the so-called “Brit Card” scheme in a bid to smash illegal migration.

Anyone starting a new job would have to show their digital ID, which would be checked on a central database.
Officials would then match it with tax records to catch out cheats.
Currently, staff only need to provide one of several paper documents – but these can be faked, and some dodgy employers pretend they have checked when they have not.
The plans will be subject to consultation and are expected to require legislation.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood this month said she is “very clear” the UK must deal with being a “a destination of choice for those that are on the move around the world”.
She added: “I want to make sure that we can clamp down on that. I think that a system of digital ID can also help with illegal working enforcement of other laws as well. I do think that that has a role to play for dealing with our migration.
“My long-term personal political view has always been in favour of ID cards.”
