AN ‘AFRICAN tribe’ illegally living in a Scots forest have moved their camp just 20 FEET in a bizarre twist after a court ordered their eviction.
Members of the so-called Kingdom of Kubala vowed to stay put last week despite cops and sheriff officers poised to forcibly remove them from the private land.

The group, who have been living in the woods in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, for weeks, insist they don’t recognise “any court”.
The tribe moved into woods in the Scottish Borders town and claimed to be taking back land stolen from their ancestors 400 years ago.
But the eccentric trio, made up of the King, Queen and a missing waitress from Texas who serves as their handmaid, have clashed with locals.
This morning, cops have surrounded the site as they prepare to evict the ‘Kingdom of Kubala’.
Around 8am today a team of sheriff officers and cops descended on the woods to start evicting the trio.
Cops stood guard outside the woods as the bailiffs packed up the groups belongings into bags.
After an hour they all left the area but the tribe remained.
The group mocked the authorities by climbing a fence within the woods and have now claimed that as that their land.
The trio sat in camp chairs just a few meters away from their previous camp with their belongings stacked up beside them after the sheriff officers moved them.
The ‘king’ Koffi Offeh said; “I heard them speak but I was only listening the creator who said to me ‘move to this side and praise my holy land.’
“No one can stop the kingdom of Kubala.
“We just want to sleep here tonight.
“As pilgrims this is the land that the creator has given us.
“All nations and land belong to the kingdom of Kubala.
“While they were calling people to check their jurisdiction we were given it by the creator.
“We do not need permission or maps for everything is given to us by the creator.

“I told them the earth belongs to the father and he wants us to sit under this beautiful tree.
“I instructed them to move my tent and I commanded them to serve me and they served me.”
The group also danced in the new land and called it the “new Mambaza”.
Speaking to the Scottish Sun about the eviction earlier this morning, Deputy Leader of Scottish Borders Council Scott Hamilton said: “It’s been an element of relief.
“This has been a combination of hard work from police, the courts, the landowner and the council.
“We’ve all worked together to try and get this outcome here today.
“So hopefully this puts an end to it, but we just don’t know what this group’s next move is going to be.”
He added: “We have tried since they first arrived, with adult protective services and social work, to really get an understanding of what this group’s ambition is.
“We want to ensure that if there’s any vulnerable adults there we want to have them protected and ensure that the right care is there, but they have rejected on every account.”
After being asked where the trio will go after being evicted, Mr Hamilton said: “Well that’s a question that they’ll have to answer and we’ll probably soon see in the next few hours what happens.
“This group has not engaged with us, they have not wanted to work with the council or the police. So we’ll see what happens.
“They must know now that regardless where they go if they break the law we will enforce it.
“Enforcement will always follow the law and we are prepared to ensure that happens.
“So if they want to engage with us and work with us absolutely we’re there to help you.
“But if you want to break the law we will enforce it.”
Last week, a Sheriff granted an order to evict them from their illegal site on the outskirts of the historic town.
Granting it, Sheriff Peter Patterson said: “I have no difficulty in granting the order for possession. I am satisfied it is competent.
“I will grant the decree for eviction with immediate extract.”
He also ordered the tribe liable to repay all costs of the eviction to landowner David Palmer.
But the ‘King’ said the group does not use any currency.
Despite the order, the three members of the so-called Kingdom of Kubala vowed to stay put.
