The teenager was rushed to hospital in nearby Heraklion on Tuesday.

She was taken to the children’s ICU, but tragically died this morning.

The girl’s mum told local media her daughter was born with cerebral palsy.

It comes after a Brit tourist died at a Spanish airport as he waited to board a Ryanair flight home to the UK.

The holidaymaker, aged around 60, was pronounced dead after collapsing in the boarding area at Reus Airport on the Costa Dorada coast.

He is believed to have died from natural causes.
