He was rushed to Famagusta General Hospital but pronounced dead.

Local police ruled out crime and state pathologist Aggeliki Papetta made no findings in a post-mortem, according to Cyprus Mail.

Samples from the traveller’s body were sent to a lab amid a probe into how the man died.

Ayia Napa is renowned for its beaches and party atmosphere.

According to Tripadvisor, parties often start in the late afternoon and go all night.

It also draws in tourists for cruises around its crystal blue waters.

The Foreign Office was contacted for comment.

Earlier this week, a Brit teen tragically plunged to her death from the sixth floor of a hotel in Ibiza.

The 19-year-old was declared dead at the scene after she fell “by accident”.

She fell around 3am at a seafront hotel in the party resort of San Antonio called Hotel Vibra District.

Paramedics raced to the scene but could do nothing to save the holidaymaker because of the extent of her injuries.

She was the second Brit to fall to their death in the Balearic Isles in a matter of days.

On Saturday morning a 28-year-old British died from a 15ft fall at a hotel in Palma Nova, near Magaluf, after a night out partying in Majorca.
