A UFC employee has brutally told Conor McGregor that his fight career is “over”.

The Irishman was set to return to the cage last June but withdrew from his long-overdue showdown with Michael Chandler with a broken left pinky toe.
McGregor, 37, has set his sights on making his cage comeback on the UFC‘s White House card next June.
But former heavyweight champion-turned-commentator Daniel Cormier insists Mystic Mac’s fighting days are a thing of the past.
During an appearance on Club Shay Shay, DC said of McGregor potentially fighting again: “Man, it’s over. That man is tripping.”
Cormier believes the lifestyle his fellow former simultaneous two-division champion has built himself – as well as his massive bank balance – will keep him returning to the cage.
He said: “He made way too much, he went from plumbing to, he sold that liquor for what $500million?
“It’s too much. He got a $100million for fighting Floyd [Mayweather]. Then he was doing pay-per-views like nothing. He made too much money.”
McGregor’s repeated insistence that he will fight again continues to leave a portion of the global MMA fanbase on tenterhooks.

But Cormier sees the Dubliner’s declarations as nothing more than a desperate attempt to stay at the forefront of fans’ minds.
He said: “Conor says he wants to fight all the time, and everybody jumps to it.
“But it’s like, he wants to stay relevant, he wants to stay in the news, he wants the notoriety of being Conor McGregor without having to be Conor McGregor.
“That kind of sucks because when he was the man, I bet you tapped in, I bet you tapped into the UFC more than ever because he could sell a fight.”
If McGregor fights again, his next outing will be his first since he was found civilly liable for having assaulted Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
McGregor appealed the civil verdict returned at Dublin’s High Court but lost his bid to overturn it in July.
