COPS have launched a probe into the mysterious death of a woman who passed away “unexpectedly” outside a seafront property.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service raced to respond to the incident after a woman was found in a courtyard area on The Parade.
After arriving on the scene medics battled to save the woman’s life but she sadly passed away despite their best efforts.
Cops then attended the scene outside a £1 million seafront home overlooking The Solent and launched a probe into the mystery.
Police are desperately trying to establish the full circumstances of the tragedy.
The woman’s family have been informed of her mysterious death and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
A police spokesperson said: “The body of a woman was discovered in a courtyard at Harbour House, The Parade.”
The death is currently being treated as “unexplained”, officers said.
