DAVE ALLEN is in the shape of his life ahead of the biggest night in his boxing career against Russian dangerman Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Allen headlines the Sheffield Arena on Saturday night against the 6ft 6in heavyweight.

And the British fan-favourite appears to be in his best nick ever as he posed looking lean in a sweat suit.
Allen scored the biggest win of his career in May when he knocked out Johnny Fisher – six months after losing controversially in Saudi Arabia.
And promoter Eddie Hearn has teased a mega-fight against ex-world champion Deontay Wilder – if Allen overcomes Makhumdov.
Hearn said: “If Dave Allen beats Makhmudov, he puts himself in line for some huge fights.
“I like the Deontay Wilder fight, personally. We’ve reached out to Shelly Finkel [Wilder’s manager] to talk about that, but let’s see what happens on October 11 first.
“It’s going to be a packed out Utilita Arena in Sheffield.
“It’s a massive night for Dave and as I say if he wins, he will waltz into the biggest fight of his career.”
Hulking Makhmudov – who resembles a typical James Bond villain – is 20-2 with his only losses coming against Agit Kabayel and Guido Vianello.

He beat Ricardo Brown in his last fight in June in Canada – winning by first-round stoppage to take his KO count to 19 in 20 wins.
Makhmudov has his own unique training routines, like wrestling BEARS and having sledgehammers smashed against his stomach.
The Eastern European is favourite to win the fight – but not according to esteemed trainer Peter Fury, uncle to Tyson.
Peter told Pro Boxing Fans: “This is a Goliath guy but when he gets hit he starts falling apart and you can’t change that.
“You can be a master, you can be a big puncher, but if you have got a heart like a pea it’s going to remain a pea, isn’t it?
“This is a blood and guts game and if you haven’t got it in you can’t train it. Dave Allen has got what he hasn’t.”
