A DEBT-RIDDEN son using his late mother’s lotto numbers scooped £100,000 days after praying to her for a “miracle”.
Terry Billings, 46, and mum Patricia switched to the Health Lottery after she was diagnosed with bladder cancer.

She died in 2020 at the age of 73 — but said she wanted him to keep entering the weekly prize draw with the same numbers.
Earlier this year self-employed promotion marketer Terry found himself praying for luck after work dwindled and he racked up a £14,000 credit card debt.
Two days later, on his son’s ninth birthday, he received an email telling him all five of his numbers had matched.
Yesterday the dad of two, from Hitchin, Herts, described his lottery win as “most bizarre and very overwhelming”.
He added: “The week before, I looked up to the sky and I told my mum how much I missed her and my struggles with debt.
“Two days later, I got the email to say I’d netted £100,000. You just do not believe something like that could happen.”
Terry has now cleared his debts and is celebrating with a Greek holiday in October.
He has also put some of the money aside for his children.
The Health Lottery Foundation helps fund thousands of small charities looking after health and wellbeing, and has raised more than £135million since it launched in 2011.
Terry said he was keen to support it, playing via direct debit even when he fell on hard times.
The numbers that landed him his June 22 windfall were his mum’s year of birth (46), her birthday (22), her favourite number (6), his son’s birthday (16) and his daughter’s birthday (29).
