AT least five police officers have been shot after attempting to serve a warrant, according to reports.
The shooting occurred on a rural road in York County, Pennsylvania, about an hour southwest of Hershey, at around 2 pm on Wednesday.

Three officers were hospitalized in grave condition, according to NBC affiliate WCAU.
A fourth police officer was reportedly listed in critical condition.
“At 2:10 pm, York County 911 received word of a police incident in North Codorus Township,” Ted Czech, the public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management, said in a brief press conference.
“Following that, numerous police and EMS units responded to the scene.”
The four officers are believed to be from the York Regional Police Department.
The fifth injured officer is reportedly a York County sheriff deputy.
The suspect, who has not been identified, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the outlet reported.
A neighbor told NBC affiliate WGAL that he heard “at least 30 gunshots” and witnessed two police officers lying on the ground at a farm house.
A shelter in place issued for North Codorus Township where the shooting occurred was lifted at 5 pm.
Pennsylvania State Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Video posted on social media showed several law enforcement cruisers and ambulances racing down a busy roadway.
A STAT Medevac helicopter was also pictured landing on a grassy field near the site of the shooting.
Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, wrote on X that he was on his way to the scene.
“I’ve been briefed on the situation involving law enforcement in York County, and am on my way there now,” Shapiro said.
Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis asked for prayers for the “officers and those involved in the shooting.”
“As we learn more, follow all guidance from police and stay away from the area,” Davis added.
