A TEN-YEAR-OLD girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a group of teenage boys at an allotment near a town in a horror attack during broad daylight.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after an alleged sexual assault at the allotments near Selby Canal at around 5pm on June 15.
A police spokesperson said: “A group of three teenage boys, approximately 13 years of age, lured the girl to the allotments before sexually assaulting her by kissing her and trying to remove her clothing.
“The girl left the area quickly afterwards.”
Police have revealed the boys were white and don’t have local accents.
One of the teenage boys is said to have short ginger hair, another has short blond gelled hair, and a third is described as having black or dark gelled hair.
All suspects were spotted wearing sports-type clothing and are believed to have been near the canal before the alleged horror attack.
