A GIRL was stabbed multiple times in a random attack on a busy Leicester Square yesterday, according to a witness.
Ioan Pintaru, 32, was charged with attempted murder after the 11-year-old was seriously injured on Monday.

He was also charged with the possession of a bladed article, the Metropolitan Police said.

He told The Telegraph that he was standing outside the Lego store when the stabbing took place.
He said: “I was looking forwards and when I heard the screaming I had to turn to the side.
“And when I looked he was attacking the little girl. He was stabbing her with a knife.”
Pintaru was remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.
The girl’s mother, 34, was initially thought to have been hurt but blood from her daughter’s injuries had been mistaken for injuries of her own, cops said.
Images obtained by The Sun showed police arresting a man at the scene yesterday.
Police said the man is not known to either of the victims and the stabbing is not currently being treated as terror-related.
