GRAHAM POTTER has released a classy statement following his sacking from West Ham.
The manager was axed after eight months in charge of the team and two days ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton.

Potter, 50, has now issued a statement after the announcement of his sacking.
The former Chelsea and Brighton boss insisted that he was not happy with his exit, but did admit that the results had not been “good enough”.
This season, the Hammers have only won once in their six games in all competitions.
They are out of the Carabao Cup and sit 19th in the Premier League table.
He said: “I am incredibly disappointed to be leaving West Ham United particularly without being able to achieve what we set out to achieve at the start of our journey in East London.
“I do however fully acknowledge that the results have just not been good enough up to now.
“Firstly, thank you to the board for offering me the opportunity to manage the team during the past eight months.
“It was an honour and a privilege to manage such a historic club, which holds such strong values for footballing traditions and passion for the game.

“I’d like to thank all the staff at the club who made me feel so welcome, the playing squad and their continued efforts during my time.
“Lastly, the fans, who have been so supportive during what has been a difficult journey at times.

“Thank you and goodbye for now. Come on you Irons.”
Potter made the statement through the League Managers Association.
He has since been replaced by former Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Ironically, the Portuguese coach is the one person that Potter got the best of this season.
Nuno was sacked at the City Ground following West Ham’s 3-0 win on August 31.
Potter had been taking training at Rush Green all week and even hosted the pre-match press conference yesterday.
However, it will be Nuno in the dugout at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night.
SunSport exclusively revealed West Ham chiefs also spoke to Gary O’Neil and Slaven Bilic about the job but Nuno was the no1 choice.
